Authorities have introduced additional Covid safety measures for travellers arriving to Bahrain, effective from Monday, February 22.

The National Medical Taskforce for Combating Coronavirus Covid-19 said all travellers are required to undergo an additional Covid-19 PCR test on the fifth day after arrival. This is in addition to the mandatory tests on arrival, Bahrain News Agency reported.
Travellers spending more than 10 days in the Kingdom are obliged to take a third mandatory Covid-19 PCR test on the 10th day. Appointments for the tests can be booked on the 'BeAware Bahrain' app.

Travellers are required to pay for the test, which has been reduced to BHD36.
They are required to self-isolate until a negative test result is issued following the on-arrival testing.
