Galadari Automobiles leads the hygiene drive to beat Covid-19 in UAE
Joining the UAE's fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, Galadari Automobiles - the distributor of Mazda vehicles in the UAE - has implemented strict hygiene measures to ensure the health and well-being of its customers and employees.
In line with the World Health Organisation (WHO) guidelines and upholding its 'safety comes first' motto, the company has put in place a hygiene protocol for frequently sterilising all surfaces and premises at all of its 14 facilities across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. Periodic hand sanitisation for both employers and customers is strictly ensured to eliminate the chances of contracting an infection.
The company has implemented a new sanitising protocol with ‘stabilised aqueous ozone’ (SAO), which is recognised world over as effective protection against the coronavirus. Using ozone on surfaces is proven to be effective against the family of viruses that Covid-19 belongs to. As an added plus point, it is environment-friendly. The special sanitising procedure is performed for all vehicles that are being serviced, and demo and display cars.
“We are mindful of the rising number of coronavirus infections across the world. The UAE is leading by example by taking proactive measures to curb the spread of the virus. And we at Galadari Automobiles pledge to stand with the country and its people in these testing times and fully commit ourselves to winning the war against Covid-19. We take the health and safety of our customers and staff very seriously. In fact, it is our number one priority,” said Mohamed Yahya Kazi Meeran, Group CEO and Director, Galadari Brothers.
Precautionary measures also include checking the body temperature of employees and customers throughout the day to detect any possible symptoms of the coronavirus. While handing over vehicles for servicing, customers can rest assured that hygiene and safety are the top priorities.
Axel Dreyer, CEO of the Galadari Brothers Automotive Division, said: “Fighting Covid-19 is a global and national emergency. It is the need of the hour that we up the game when it comes to maintaining the health and safety of all our stakeholders by implementing proactive, innovative and preventive measures.
“We recently purchased a device that produces SAO. The new sterilisation method is known to kill 99.9 per cent of viruses and bacteria on surfaces without damaging it. While we continue to offer world-class services and automotive products, we ensure that your safety, as well as that of our staff members, is never compromised.”
